You mean the one that runs along the front of the radiator support? Theyre know for getting weak over time.

I usually cut 5, 8ft lengths then use the last, which is longer for the tail end of the header. Im doing one now for another member. Man, this make sthe 12th header ive done so far, lol.
Deff Mike,

Would have been way easier and less time consuming, thanks for the heads up. I'll do it that way on the next run. But for now i'm going to just smile everytime I open the hood and don't get slammed in the face by a wall of heat

If you guys do your orp or converter, it makes an even bigger difference in both performance and heat. By wrapping my orp, my oil temp dropped by a full half a gauge. That just shows the heat transfer into the oil pan. Anytime you can lower your oil temp, its a good thing.

Its the plastic piece that sits on top of the radiator has 1 hose from the reservoir and two out the other side.

I figured it just got weak. It sucked though and the neighborhood reverberated with my swearing.

What about wear on the cat. Won't the cat get too hot if wrapped?

How many miles since wrap? and, did you wrap the element to or just the piping?

Also, could you hook me up with a new cat bracket? mine cracked and rattles to no end.

Thanks
