for everyone who has done this... how much wrap did you use for each runner? i would think it's easier to cut the wrap in sections but i don't wanna end up being too short in length.

i used the entire 50 feet.

because its 4-2-1. the top 4 runners are essentially split into two. so i just wrapped both those down to the first collector then back up to the flange. then same on the other side. then i wrapped each of the 2 runners seperately.

but i noticed...that there is no strange heat under the motor bay. its not melting my fans either...

i guess there are diff ways of wrapping it... as long as it's nice and tight on there. do you have pics derrick?

i have to rewrap it. because im building a heat shield for the bottom...






when i re do it...ill get some new pics with it off the car.

looks good... i can't wait to do this myself in a couple weeks. vaca time! finally

this may be a stupid question but how long does the wrap last if you don't use a silicon spray on it? i have the spray to use which i will, but just wondering if you didn't use it... like when it gets wet all the time.

where did you get those black hose clamps?
did you apply the wrap while it was wet?

looks good, though you prolly should have sprayed the silicone spray on it.

how do you know your oil temps havent gone down?
do you have a real gauge hooked up? or are you going by the SVT gauge?

they are chrome clamps...idk why theyre black. lol

nah i did it dry. next time imma do it wet. let it dry then paint it and let it dry. car will be down all weekend. but itll be done to last. which is what i want. this stuff is amazing.
