well i like things to look very stock or like they came that way from the factory-- but i might do silver since it will match my head and couple other things on my car-- i just dont want the silver tp discolor

dumb question but would wrapping ur CAI make it cooler...so no heat from the engine gets to the pipe?

my car is black-- thats why im thinkin black wrap its knida my theme in my engine bay-- i just painted my dipstick, washer fluid cover and oil cap black as well

Well I finally got around to doing mine yesturday. I came home today after work to see if I could touch the headers, and they still felt hot.

Must I wait a few days before 100% effectiveness?

no dude, of course they are going to be hot. its just a VERY big difference from when they werent wrapped. id say about 3-5 minutes before i can lay my hand on them. does yours still smoke?
