yea i had "fun" wrapping mine....honestly this is sooo much easier,faster and tighter when one of ur friends is there to help you....
i did mine right away when i got the header...so im not sure about the difference in hp...but yes i can as well grab the header with my hand even after a hard run....that tells how much heat it holds in

but i did not use the silicon stuff....maybe i should of....
also i really don't believe that stainless header can rust by using the wrap on it....the header gets so hot people that any water that touches it just evaporates in seconds....
im also on plannin to wrap my flex pipe with whatever that i have left


HaveBlue83: did u feel any gains in hp or maybe tq? after and u wrapped it up?

I dunno about feeling any power gains....

it DEF stays cooler in the engine bay, and the IAT's are lower.

If I put the car on a lift will the header slide out the bottom so I wouldn't have to cut the heat shield up?

well the header i belive is bolted to the heat sheild but if you undid those i would imagine

not really....the shield hits the fans, you would have to take them out as well....

i didnt try it, but it may be possible not to cut the shield up if the fans arent there. but i dont know if the fans will slide out with the shield there. the fans arent hard to remove. unclip all electrix and it kinda POPS up out of some sleeves and it is removed from underneath. i didnt try to remove it from above, this might work too.

HaveBlue has the silver paint on the wrap been discolored at all from running it? I'm still trying to between the white/silver or black wrap

I went with black wrap however, in my haste I bought the wrong color sealer so, its now all silver
