Eibach Pro kit on svt with 18's worth it? Ford racing springs??

I have the stock svt suspension on currently and will be putting my new 18's on this spring (18x7.5 - 45mm) with 225/35/18's on all four corners. I dont know what this will look like on the stock svt suspension (have seen a few pics close to this setup so I have an idea, and think it will need a slight drop to help reduce the gap).

So the stock svt drop is .5-.75 and the pro drops 1.4 and 1.5 (seems to be a +/- .1-.2 difference depending on who you ask) so this should drop me another .9-.7 or so.

I have also seen the ford racing (yellow) springs that supposedly drop 1.6 f/r for about the same price or a lil cheaper than the pro's - anybody know anything about these? I have heard good things about the handling/ride of the pro's but nothing about the ford racing units. These would also put me at around an inch drop f/r (1.6 minus .5-.75)

1. Will I need to get camber bolts with these drop springs? I realize the drop would be minimal but dont know if the stock can adjust enough?

2. Will I need an alignment after doing a drop this small? I am guessing the anwer is probably no but recommended?

3. What about shocks/struts? My car has 40k on the stock suspension- should I replace them now? If so would the whole pro kit be best that comes with the pro dampers?

1. You "may" need camber bolts will any drop. You want your camber to be no more than -1.6 degrees for everyday driving. More may cause inside edge tire wear.

2. You always need an alignment after lowering a car as it will impact camber and toe settings.

3. Yes you should replace the shocks now. The stiffer springs will further tire the old ones out and you'll end up replacing them sooner than later. If you can't do the work yourself the labor costs can be a real bite in the shorts. Always better to do it all (springs and shocks) at the same time. At 40 k miles your stock shocks have lost a significant amount of their damping abilility even though they may feel OK.
