Stock cassette to Stock CD player
I didnt really feel like buying a chiltons handbook for my gf's car. i searched before i made this post, but i couldnt seem to find any instructions on how to remove the stock cassette player. Is there a link of a how to remove the stock unit. If someone could help me out that would be great. its a 2003 focus sedan. thanx

What you will need is a set of Ford radio removal tools/keys. Let me see if I can find a how-to or something that shows what they are. You can find the removal tools at Wal-Mart back by the car audio stuff.

hey thanx much. This site seems to be pretty good. I am a member of J-body.org. I have a turbo z24 cavalier. I noticed ur from manitowac. I go to matc right now. i was on the way to school today and i got rear ended in my gf's car. luckily it was only the rear bumper and it jsut shattered from the cold. i went to wctc for autobody so its an easy fox for me. thanx for the help with the little bracket things haha. i picked up a stock cd player while i was at the salvage yard in fort atkinson. going to work these thingsa out!

Yeah, if it isn't a factory Blaupunkt cd player, it will be a direct, plug-n-play swap for you to add the cd player.

everytign was simple once i got those two u's to remove the player itself. I also replaced the rear bumper tail lights and trunk easily. all done in 3 hours.
