White smoke is from Zetec Engine under the hood?

I have 2000 Focus ZTS, and recently I can see or smell some strong white smoke from Zetec Engine under the hood when the car just goes for a few miles. However, after I drive it for longer time, e.g. 10min, and that smoke disappear as I stop the car to check. This first happened since the date of changing oil in the garage before half month. After that, engine always smoke for a couple of times when I start it. However, the car run well but smoke.

Also, Engine do not smoke before chaning oil this time.

Why cause this?

My guess are as following, but I am not sure.

1.Maybe engine oil left outside of engine will be burned?
2. when I go to change oil, I have free service for Lubricate of grease fittings. Is that possible for lubricate burning?

Do I need to do something for that? Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot,

It sounds like you have some type of leak that is burning off as the engine warms up. The smoke disappears after whatever is leaking is gone. Maybe some oil leaking down on the exhaust manifold from the valve cover? Possibly some coolant leaking onto something hot?

It sounds like an oil leak to me. One of my friends had an LTD that did that.

check your valve cover, clean it up, drive it, let it sit, check it. check your coolant hoses and levels. Does the smoke smell like oil or bitter like coolant?

Sounds like a vlave cover leak to me. Mine has a very small one that only shows up every once in a while. Last night I was installing new cams and a little drop of oil fell on the manifold while we were putting it all back together. It also smoked for a minute or two then went away.
