Track listing?

I'm going on vacation in March, my girlfriend and I are driving down to Florida where we will be staying with her grandparents for a week, and I was hoping to hit a road race course (I think that's what it's called) on the way. I find drag racing pretty boring, and no autocross events have begun here so I cant really try that yet, and I've always though that road racing has looked like alot of fun. I was just wondering if there is a website I could go to that could tell me the locations of some tracks. I did a search but couldnt find anything. Or if anyone on here would know where there are some.

Check the scca website. They have lots of imfo on dates and regulations required to run their events. Most road courses won't allow you to just show up and run.You usually have to be affiliated with a club or group and have your car prepped and tech inspected, along with your safety gear.It is not as informal as drag racing.

Can you change your vacation to April? If so SVTOA is having an event at Sebring on April 20-22. Two days of classroom and in car instruction for $335.
Check out http://www.svtoa.motorsportreg.com/ for information on this and other SVTOA On Track events.
We get about 10 guys from MA every year at the Summit Point event in May and it looks like the MA chapter does quite a few auto X's at Devens Airfield.
If you would like to try Watkins Glen, phoenixcmr.com runs two events every summer with instruction.
The first event is June 4-5 and the second is August 20-21. I instruct for both groups and can guarantee a good time will be had by all.
