I heard if you use the armor all stuff, there is a special oil in the cloth, and when you stop using it, your dash cracks. I actually heard that on here somewhere.

For general cleaning the dash and all the components on it, i use a California Dash Duster, works great.

Anything but armorall, those products actually attract dust in the long haul and if you don't cover and wipe every single inch, you'll see it. It also can cause glare from the shine it leaves on the dash making it hard to see on sunny days.
Myself, I use a swifter pad (electrostatic to pick up the dust) then usually a typical 'non shine' automotive cleaner, but if you keep the car dusted regularily, you shouldn't need to actually spray anything on the dash anyway.

the armoral stuff is good for haevy soil, but only use it to clean, then use a duster and non shine cleaner monthly, and it'll be good.

Well you do need to provide a level of UV protection.
I use Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant ![]() on my car about once a month and then I use Quik Interior Detailer ![]() weekly. I never have to worry about my dash cracking if I stop using it too. It does not contain and ingredents that will strip my vinyl of oil.
