tho i do admire your opinion which is pretty spot on, but i don't see where you get the fogs used off an F150? they're shot and square, the '05 F150 had rectangle fogs, and the newer one have circle... none of which have square

I like the general shape of the coupe, but that front is NASTYASS. The interior looks sharp. If I could swap my SAP front end and lights and crap, I would consider buying it, but I gotta see it in person. International auto show is next week so I will eventually see it. Quite frankly, I don't really like it as of yet. But then again, all front ends seem to be nastyass these days. New WRX, cobalt, ion, sentra ect. all have nastyass bucktooth front ends. Long live the 06 SAP ST.

Ford is renewing its commitment to the small car market as an influx of younger buyers and the instability of gas prices have led to growing sales in the segment. Small cars make up the largest vehicle segment in the U.S. today and growth is expected to continue. The 2008 Focus will be poised to capture some of this growth when it hits the streets in fall 2007.
it just me ot this is just funny?

doesnt bother me, much the only thing that dont fly with me is the grill and the rear, but if u add some aftermarket, it would be awesome :D, or a new grill and rear. but for me, ill stick with my project, a 1956 f100 :D... and keep my focus as a long highway driver. , think someone can photoshop ??

interesting...

Since its North American introduction in 1999, Focus has been hailed for being an affordable car that handles and drives like a car more than twice its price. For 2008, the Focus's curb weight is down by 60 pounds, even though the body structure is stiffer. This allowed the suspension engineers to sharpen the car's steering and handling while improving ride quality at the same time.

I agree, the 2000-2004 were the best years so far. Unique styling, awsome chassis, & quickly became the best selling car in the world. Even with all the recalls on the 2000 models, it made car & drivers 10best list with those years & when the SVT models came out it kicked the honda si's ass in the ratings & beat the evo, & sti in the CR sport car category. Even the aftermarket got a hardon for focus. Then ford got stupid again, & the downfall began.

Hey, Ford! Saturn called. They want their design team back.

The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and in some ways it is a step above what we have now. But those who prefer aftermarket headunits will probably be pissed.

Sorry, not a fan of the exterior. Although I can't say that I'm surprised. The Focus looked its best when it first came out. Its design has gone downhill since.

The elimination of the hatchback version pretty much put the last nail in the coffin for me. I'll most likely go with a used Yaris Liftback after my current ZX3.

I hate that... looks WAY too diffferent... look we've had the focus for about 8 years now and it hasnt changed much from 2000... so in 2008, they are gonna DRASTICALLY change it... now on the other hand the ford mustang is very distinguishable... bearing resemblance all the way from 1964 - 2007... I dont see why Ford wants to drastically change something that isnt bad... if they wanna change it, make more performance! [end rant]
