What is it with the Focus and import guys?

Earlier this evening, I stopped by a sandwich shop to get myself a tasty Ceasar Chicken wrap. When I was leaving the place, all ready to chow down, a bunch of idiots were standing around my car, leaning in the windows. I walked up and asked them "what the #@!* are you doing?" One of them walked up to me and was like "What up homie, is this your ride?" and tried to shake my hand, but I just left my hands at my sides. I told him it was, and he asked me if it was a real SVT, I said yes, it is. Then one of his buddies asked if it had the factory supercharger (LMAO) I said no. Then the guy starts asking about if I race it, what does it run, what cars have I "smoked" blah blah blah, Of course I told him its my daily driver, and I have no interest in racing, which of course puzzled him. At this point I'm starting to get a headache, as my blood sugar was low, and I needed to eat. Then these tools start telling all about their friend's cars (apparently they either don't own any of these amazing 10 second imports, or the left their cars at home, since their was only an early 90's civic with a fart pipe and smashed fender in the lot ), a honda with a big turbo, pushing 30lbs of boost, another with a jmq4x or whatever engine, then theres the nissan such and such.....I finally just walked past them, got in my car and left.
Why is that ever since I got the car, people automatically think I am a world renowned expert on Japanese cars?

Yeah, but then I would have risked jail time and/or messing my ceasar chicken wrap up. And that would be pretty irresponsible of me. You know. To mess up my dinner like that.

well done man, you find those kind of shitheads everywhere, like today i got a crysler sebring o what ever the name is behind me , and it was getting very close when we were about to get into the freeway so, i just accelerate and drive away, cmon, a sebring???...

i get the "since you own an SVT you must know every single model of car ever made" thing alot....thankful I was born with an @ss full of BS so I just nod and say 'yea' and 'thats cool' alot until they shut up

oh if I hadn't been so damn hungry, the bs would have benn flying. It seemed pretty obvious to me these guys really didn't know what they were talking about, I could of had allot of fun with them, but it wasn't the time for that.

I also hear the "Dude, thats not a real SVT" line allot too I usually reply with either "Are you serious, I just paid 35 thousand dollars for this car!!! Oh man!" or "yeah its just a kit car on an escort"

no, it was time for the chicken caesar wrap! GOOD CHOICE! went to chic-fil-a the other day, ordered a wrap, said i'd like the caesar, and the girl goes on to ask in almost a stupified tone "so you want the caesar wrarp...AND caesar dressing?" uh...duh!
