Ohio legislation trying to rid of "front" plate.

The state wants it gone, law enforcement say's nah. I personally would love to get rid of the front plate.

Whats your opinion?

That would be wonderful if they did. I used to live there, but dont anymore. I bought my car in Cincinnatti, it always bugged me that there were two holes in the front bumper. But then I installed the new one so its all good. :D Cars look much better without them, thats really the only purpose I see for not having them. Would it still cost the same to have plates put on your car? I would be shocked if they actually dropped the price in half since you would only have to buy one plate!

I doubt you'd pay any less but the state would save money on not issuesing two plates;I wouldn't mind if Colorado abandoned the front plate but not a big deal to me. Cops want it for easier identification and an easy spot to hit with radar.

Id be totally for it. Even if it doesnt save me money on plates, I'd just be glad to have it gone.

It's not like I request different plates every year or something, I've had the same ones since I got the car.

While they are at it, how about a better plate than this one?

I'm glad i still have the old style (which my freind from DC says looks like diplomatic plates lol):

They just came out with the new design. I'm surprised you haven't seen them yet around columbus, I've seen several already.

Our driver license is suppose to be going to the same design.

They are suppose to getting a superman edition plates too, that's what I've been waiting for. So I can order my personalized plates. Until then I'm sticking with the sunset plates.

The new plates are everywhere on the north side of Columbus. I'm not a fan of em. Was even less a fan of the Beautiful Ohio plates. As a matter of fact I bought zoo plates so I'd only get the clouds at the top and none of the rest. The gold plates were worse yet. Why oh why can't we design decent plates in Ohio? I enjoyed the Indiana amber waves plates and the grass ones too. And Michigans new plates aren't that bad either.

I didn't mind those. Preferred em with the bicentennial logo before they went starburst. They were not horrible though :-)

I sure hope we lose the front plate. Also glad we have a new plate. I hate the Beautiful Ohio plate.
