Talking subwoofer out on '06 audiophile headunit?

i'm installing an amp and a pair of subs in my focus, but i have the audiophile kit with the 6 disk changer and the factory sub. i'm going to be removing the factory sub, but i am unsure how to connect the headunit to my amp. i assume there isn't an RCA out for the subs like on aftermarket headunits. anyone know how it's done?

I didnt have an Audiophile head unit, but I also have an 06, so Its probably similar.

I used an LOC to convert the outs from the head unit to amp level signals with RCA outputs. Worked great, but im not using the setup any more.

I have done it to mine, its pretty simple. Let me see if i can get you the diagram. All you will need to run back to the new amp is a much heavier power wire, of course a heavier ground and a remote turn on wire. The line level wires can be wired to a set of RCA ends.

Thumbs up diagram

That's awesome you got it to work. If you could find a diagram that would be great! I thought there was a factory lead wire, but if you say i need to run one then I'm not sure where it would go. Anyway, thank you for the reply, the biggest thing is now I know it can be done. Thanks!
