I recently replaced my driver's seat due to the side bolster foam being ripped and the frame poking me in the back. Had to reuse my stock seat upholstry since the seat I got didn't match. The upshot is I now have adjustable lumbar. It's not too hard from the mechanical aspect of it. It IS however a lot of physical work. You'll have to remove the seat from the car and then remove the backrest from the seat. I'll write up a How-To with pictures, but it may take me a week or so, I work a lot this coming week. I'll shoot you a line whenever I get it done.

The tool needed: A set of hog ring pliers. Those little rings that hold the seat fabric in place are called hog rings. Using anything other than hog ring pliers when you have a lot of them to do is an exercise in frustration.....

They do use hog rings on the Focus seats, right? Or am I just showing my age?
