Squeaky Brakes

I bought my 2005 ZX4 S from a trustworthy friend who works at one of Illinois' largest dealerships: Sherman Dodge. The car sat on the lot for 60 days before I bought it. He said brakes rust fairly easily and they could've done so in 60 days. At that time, I had 32,000 miles on the car. Now I'm at about 35,000 miles and I still have the squeaking. It's mainly in my rear brakes and doesn't have any affect on my steering wheel while braking. It's really just haunting me so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Are they drums, on the rear? If so, there isn't much you can do about them because they are "sealed" from the factory, for the most part, and they also are part of the wheel bearing assembly. I had mine changed, for the first time, last summer. What a mess.

The squeaking could be from brake dust accumulation.
