SVT or ST please vote, just VOTE

hi,

well i was looking at the ford dealer and they have a SVT silver (not liquid gray), very nice with HID's, magnaflow exhaust, and i dont know what else is under the hood cause i just looked at the outside of it.

the down side of it is that it has 45K miles. so i told him that if they can get my payments to be lower than 250 (what i pay now). i would consider geting the SVT.

so the $10000000.00 question is-- should i get the SVT and let go of my semi-mod ST?

yes?? no?? please vote. any comments would be welcome. bad or good.

my car has 13k miles.

thanks

It's a tough decision. What year is the SVT? 45k Miles isn't all that bad for an SVT, but I'd take an in depth look at it to make sure there aren't any problems with it if you are seriously considering letting your ST go. I personally like the new ST's. They look pretty good, handle well, and have some decent pick up for it being a Focus.

i think you should keep your st. with the mods you got, i think it'd be pretty close to the svt in performance. and, the simple fact is, it's newer.

tough call....def drive it and see. while I agree you are pretty close in performance (at least engine wise), the handling would probably be better...not to mention you get all the nice extra's of the SVT: Seats, Sunroof, Cruise, etc.

On the other hand, as more mods start coming out for the ST you are going to have the opportunity to build a potentially better car.

As far as mileage goes....they seem like baby when you consider how many you should get out of it all together. Then again, I keep my cars till they are completely dead so...

I will now take the opportunity to pimp my CarLoan spreadsheet for buyers...njoy

The svt has more goodies in it, but I would stick with your current car, cuz the svt doesn't exactly have Honda reliability.

STick with your ST. They are so much nicer than the SVTs. You don't want something used anyways. Never know where its been
