328 Foci signed up so far. A very good start. The more owners participate, the better the information we can provide to everyonel.

Really, I haven't done a thing to mine except for regular maintenance. I'm happy clicking on the boring, "no work this month" link time and time again.

I have an 2000 SE w/ 170k. I have only brang the car in for maybe 2 recalls and today just found out there are maybe 10+ dealer related recalls i.e. door latch, fuel system, chassis, speed sensor, etc...

Will the dealer still honor the recalls since its been 9 years and 170k later?

They might be legally obligated to still honor those recalls, especially if safety is an issue.

We've updated the results for the Focus to include owner experiences through March 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2008: 62, about average

2007: 33, better than average

2006: 41, better than average

2005: 58, about average

2003: 101, about average

2002: 216, worse than average; based on results for other model years, this one is not accurate

2001: 93, about average

2000: 111, about average

We only had a sufficient sample size for the 2005. The other results are asterisked and only visible to members on the site itself.

A big thank you to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in August and November. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and fully cover all model years.

Thanks, I appreciate it. 382 Focus owners now signed up. A great start, but more remain needed to cover all model years.
