2000 Focus Needs Engine
I have a 00 Ford Focus that has a blown engine and I have a 99 Ford Escort SE that has a good engine (they both have the SPI engine). Does anyone know if the engine will fit from the Escort into the Focus and if it does fit how much work is it to get the engine to fit in the focus?

Being that they have the same engine and are only a year apart they shouldn't be much different (if they are at all). Shouldn't be too much work. Might have to use some parts from the focus cause i believe the escort setup is just a lil different when it comes to the intake and stuff like that. I'm not sure. Get pics of the engine bays if you can.

depending on the damage, u might not have to change the entire motor... I am 100% sure the blocks are identical... not sure about everything else...
