Any way that i can wire my foglights to stay on when my highbeams are on?

If anyone knows of a way that i can have all of my lights running at the same time. let ne know. (high beam, low beam, fogs, all of them) i was told taht you can use a certain diode and connect it to your highs and fogs and lows but i dont know if i really want to trust that. any help is appreciated. thanks

Do a search for the foglight mod...not only will it allow you to keep the foglights on with the highbeams, you'll also be able to turn the foglights on without the headlights also being on.

Only do the highbeam mod that keeps your lows and highs on together if you have the Mach HID's/ST170's or other lights that use two seperate bulbs for the lows and highs.

I had done this on my old passat and it worked fine and was much brighter. But I had heard that because of the Focus headlights being plastic it can melt them.

I used a paperclip and it works great. My highs are soooo bright. I have had no problems either, been 3 yrs like this.

I can turn my fogs on when my headlights aren't on, but the switch is on the parking lamps, is this what you mean? I am sure it is.
