EGR and DPFE different between '00/'01 and '02?

I'm trying to find out if there's a difference between the DPFE sensor and EGR valve between the '00-'01 model years and the '02+. Someone is selling both for $30 in the B/S/T forum and he says he bought them for his 2001 which he sold off, I know there was a difference in what they came with from the factory but I'm wondering if that applies to new parts from the dealer as well.

Thanks in advance

My 01 zx-3 is on the tube, I am on my 3rd dfpe sensor, the last one looked nothing like the first 2. The first 2 both did the same thing, the car would chug or fish bite at highway speeds. You could feel it around 55-65 mph. This last one seems to have done the trick. I think the 3rd one was even cheaper that the 2nd one I put on. You would be better off going to a dealer to get it, they will give you the right. Somewhere they made a change. The latest one has not given me one problem, 141,500 miles on the car.

Mine looks nothing like any of the ones I've seen on here or for sale on the web, and I have minimal surging about once a week around 30-40 MPH. The dealer pulled the part # and said it was discontinued... I have an early MY2002, so it could be the 01 sensor, but its in the 02-05 location (not on top the egr valve, yes mounted on the firewall). dunno. They were gonna charge me 120 bucks for the discontinued one. The car is away for the week , so i'll have pics up on sunday/monday.
