2008 ford focus coupe!!

So i was doing research online and I came across these pictures:

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=117501

so I'm think whoa, that might not actually be too bad, I'd like to see the rest of the lines on it though. I was wondering 2 things though... I have a 2k zx3 with some aftermarket parts, and well i was wondering if the hard parts, like coilovers, shocks, struts, tranny, etc would be swappable with that. Also, this might sound stupid, but I just cannot get over how cluttered the duratec is compared to the zetec motor, is the duratec that much better??? Does it have the same redline etc.

Ford hopes to grab peoples' attention with the new three bar grill.

Will it happen? I vote..YES!

I've seen MANY, M-A-N-Y two bar grill cars...you know what I thought? Gross!

The third bar adds confidence and a bit of Shazoomy to the mix, I'm sold.

I certainly hope they don't focus on what the majority of their customers
are looking for...improvements, etc.

The third bar is most important and our day has arrived.

Signed,
Grill X3 Club, Kansas

but isn't the saying 3 is a crowd hold true here??? anything has to be better than that cheap ass grill that is on the 1st gen, hell i bet everyone on here could go out to there 1gen grills and it has at least one bracket cracked on it, lol. Its sad to see the zx3 more than likely dissapear into the sunset never to be seen again, I loved my hatch more than anything. I guess we americans are too stupid to realize that less is more ie 3 doors provides more storage, room, etc than 4. It looks like I'm gonna have to move to Europe where I'll feel accepted for wanting to own a hatchback car. I guess it could be worse, I kinda like the coupe, it has a nice "safe" look to it, nothing over the top, course that's ford's specialty on this side of the atlantic, better safe than sorry. Even though there gonna let volvo try and reap all the benefits with the new C30, nice car, but too much $$$, I guess we'll find out what its all about when it releases next year.

Btw, if u look closely at the pictures of the coupe, you can see rear disc brakes, something I've been wishing for forever, with a nice short deck lid length, and the ability to be lowered what seems to be about 3 inches, this'll be a sexy machine. I would imagine that the 2.3 would go in this because if i'm not mistaken, the zx4 st has rear disc and its a 2.3 right??? It strongly reminds me of a 2k honda civic coupe, with more sculpted lines. Sorry, I'm just getting ready to go to Iraq in the next few months and I just wanna know what I'm gonna buy when I get back.

wow an actual video...sweet I thought these were gonna be the same gay old pics...nice find!! It looks preety sweet, but I don't know if it's gonna draw too many more customers with the redesign...I mean yah it's gonna get more but the ones who wanted to buy the hatch might move on so it could just even out...we'll have to wait and see in feb at the auto show!! I can't wait!! :)

I really dislike the look of the coupe. The ass end being so tall reminds me of the neon, which I also can't stand the look of because the ass end is a mile taller than the front end. But of course, no hatch means no 08+ focus for me.
