Unhappy foci sadness :( ::sigh::

hey guys, I havent had my foci since friday night when it got left at the dealership. i hit this curb/sidewalk when i was getting off an exit on the freeway. my wheel broke, tire popped, fender bent up, wheel well interior got messed up and my steering wheel is way off... other things under the car too but i didnt see because it was late at night... any who, i feel really sad and miss it a lot. im driving this white 06 chevy cobalt rental 4 door and its nothing like my precious foci. OK, seating position is way up-high, interior is plain, no tint, steering is dead when turning or parking ohh and it wistles* a lot at WOT - seems it wants a CAI in there with all that plastic under the hood. Question... will my car ever drive/be the same? everyone keeps telling me to sell it/trade it and get something new again. I been online looking at St's and they are really rare. i saw 2, a red one with 15K and a silver one with like 7k and both are like $13K. I really have a lot of love for my car and i just dont want to throw it away like that. im just desperate and want to know what the estimate will look like? I should be getting a call from my insurance tomorrow/estimate guy... and this guy at the dealer said he would call me tuesday with some #'s. for sure my car is not totalled right?

I miss my foci aka "Chuncky" ::sigh::

PIAA headlights & window wipers, Silverstar turn signals, clear OBX side markers, ST grille and ST fog-light bezels, white LED dome light, blacked out tail lights, debadged, MBRP exhaust, Focus Sport CAI, Focus Central front strut bar, Pioneer DEH-P6700MP CD player, Pioneer 3-way & 4-way speakers, 2 Kenwood 10"s, Dual Amp (2 channel), 5% 2xrear tint, 5% 1xfront, Eibach Sportline suspension w/ Pro dampers and more to cum...

You damaged a fender, fenderwell lining, control arm, sway bar, steering rack, tie rods, and probably the strut also. Not too bad, I don't know CA pricing, but I'd say you're in for a $3000 repair. It should be nowhere near totalled.
Be eclectic.

Know how you feel (almost). I took a corner yesterday and snagged my right rear on the nastiest curb in town. Damn thing ripped a chuck right out of the sidewall. Not to mention my nice newly customized wheel.

I told my wife I was testing the low tire pressure sensors. Which do work by the way, that message center was screaming at me almost before I hit the curb. But I never thought it would say "dumb ass, you just hit a curb".

Hope you get yours back soon.

I'd have to say theres no reasont o trade your car in. My car was rear ended and caused $8000 in damage in may of 07 and its an 07 focus! Part of the unibody needed to be straighted and replaced along witht eh floor in the trunk etc... I just need to make sure I rotate my tires thats all.

^lol everyone is trying to one up you! "Well that’s not so bad I had damages up to 100k on my focus..." lol Anyway, yes, the st...really hard to find. I've heard it was only 3% of focus production. I only found two when I was looking and I chose the one that was 3k off sticker price...yes to a 10k ST!!!!!
