Drag and Autocross: Combatting wheel hop
So how is everybody beating the wheel hop?
Stiffer control arm bushings? Stiffer/solid motor mounts? Braces? I know there are some serious racers out there, so let's here it.

First thing: lower motor mount.
From there, I don't know.

Dogbone is done. Didn't actually help wheel hop at all.

what kind of power are you pushing to have wheel hop? from what I was able to tell a good suspension setup seems to help out alot along w/the lower dogbone w/wheel hop

You don't have to have lots of power to get wheel hop, just lots of traction and enough torque to break the tires loose.I am also having issues with wheel hop, especially in tight corners under full power.Since I put in the Torsen,I get wheel hop instead of just a smoking tire.Does anyone know just how the Lakewood unit mounts and what do those arms go to?I am assuming it mounts somewhere off the rear K-member and those arms support the lower control arms, but it's really not clear. They also say it does not fit the SVTF.WTF?I did not think their suspension setup was that different, other than struts, sway bars and springs.Mabye the Lakewoods use some point on the spindle for mounting purposes.Would be good to know, especially if you have upgraded to SVTF spindles/brakes...
