broken rear mounts

anyone have a broken vf rear engine mount? how did it break and how long did you have it?

My friend murdered like 4 of them and killed the mount it mounts to on the tranny 2 times. But he is nuts, and he drove on it for a while IIRC. Maybe a month or 2

didnt break my mount, but trashed the bushing on the tranny end. had it about 8 months.
emailed vf twice now and no response. think ill just go to a mac and say screw vf.

mine has about 6 months on it, still in good shape. However, I don't drive hard that often.

Mine's toast, The bushings look like the other posted pics of trashed VF's. didn't last long at all.
HOW did it break ??....

I think mine is busted too. Everytime I just let off the gas without putting the clutch in, you can hear it click.

I am pretty sure mine is trashed, anytime I downshift(hard) I get a little clank. I had my VF mount in mine since summer 2004. I need to get under the car and look but I am paranoid that it is something else that is broken free.

Save your MONEY. I went with the new energey suspension bushings.

Make sure you get the new style. It has a very thick side that cannot be pulled through the eng. mount. The original after market ones pulled right out of the mount. You press the large bushing in so the thick part is mounted towards the ground. I made a press out of some sockets and a large C clamp.
