i know there was a thread back here, and it has since disappeared. anyways, Jeremy from focussalvage.com hooked it up bigtime. got my an SPI motor to the door for 800 shipped, when he would have cost me over 1200 to buy one here locally. got the motor here in about 4 days, and had it installed with no issues whatsoever within 15hrs. the engine runs great, and i am so FREAKIN happy my car is back on the road. Focussalvage.com is a trustworthy site with good people running things backstage. if you need a part, hit these people up. they will make sure they get what they need. Moderators of the site, feel free to merge this post with the other focussalvage.com thread that disappeared. if not, Thanks Jeremy! and anyone else give the man his props if he hooked you up!

how much can u get a 2.5 v6 duratec for? and i wonder if the engine will use the same motor mounts and what about the ecm do u know?

they should know alot about this, they built the V6 focus with that same engine. i believe they took the cougar 2.5 duratec and put it in. it looks liek ti fet without any problems.
but def get at focus salvage about that engine. when i have money i'm going to be looking for a full IB5 setup for a swap, and focus salvage is on my list. i'll be looking for it mid-late summer if you guys are reading this.
