factory hu > sub

im thinking of putting a sub into my car, factory hu

model number is 6000rds

i was thinking, after looking at this LOC thing i need, that if i make a harness for it with the appropriate wires coming off it for the LOC that i could make it so i can easily remove the stuff from the back if need to sell the car

i have this in my head:

wires from car > through harness which has wires coming off > headunit

has anyone tried this, instead of just cutting wires and soldering?
