2001 Ford Focus ZX3, 0-60 in 8.7 and 1/4 mile in 16.8 seconds.
I know the first time i ran with exhaust and intake on my 5spd, i was nervous cus it was the first time ive gone to the strip and the best i did was a 17.2 at 80.9 mph. i felt so slow

my brother has an integra ls, he went to a track and ran a 5 times all between 15.9-16.3. when i just had my header, flex, exhaust and intake, i raced him and was a head of him by 1.5 cars at about 85 mi/hr. we raced 2 times some thing happened. Figure 85 is about all your gonna do 1/4 mile if not less then that.

The reaction time does not matter. The time does not start until you start moving. How do you dump the clutch or do you let it slip? What was your 60ft times? that’s probably the most important number to look at how well you did.

i did best of 16.2 stock with lower tire pressure and rear seats taken out, power shifting and dump at 3k for the launch

With intake, header and exhaust I did a starting time of 16.1 with a horrible launch. Tried it again and my car cut out on me. It was a bad wiring harness. I haven't ran it since but i'm sure it has a 15.9 in it if the launch is nailed better

At what rpm are you shifting? I shift at about 6 grand. In my opinion there's nothing left after that.

I know this will kinda pop you guys' bubbles a bit...but ET has 5000% more to do with tires and driving/starting techinque/traction than power.

If you want to know if your engine is working right, just look at the MPH. As long as you shift (properly) at about the same RPM, the MPH is the best indicator of power.
