well now it is a maybe. trailered car up to kearney racing today. after talking to john, we hatched up some extra work. so i will be in foci withdrawal for at least a week, maybe more. he has some interesting ideas for additions to the cage. also will be playing spring rate game w/coilovers. then install a very trick rear stress bar in aircraft grade aluminum (weighs maybe 2lbs but very strong.) that part can be seen at www.adamsracing.net. very nice construction. definitely gonna miss summit point this coming weekend. hope to still see you guys at 75/80. oh yeah, zx3 girl, nasa is at summit if you want to watch on 11/1 and 2. free admission.

Gary, are they making you guys do the high bar across the drivers door yet, just curious, do you know the one I mean, makes it a pain to get in and out, fine for full race but a bear in a street driven car..

thats been a bone of contention w/me and nasa va. region tech. i/o port is owned by a fella named ken burns who used to be the national safety director w/nasa. as he stated nowhere does the rule book say how high the door bar has to be. higher does equal safer. long before the scca allowed it, emra allowed us nascar door bars and my itb car had them.. anyway nasa va. finally agreed that i was legal. however i still want one if feasible. thats one of the things he's going to try to fabricate, a removable door bar. we'll see. i saw an m3 that he welded a cage into and didn't leave a scratch. it was amazing. he's good. now i wish i had them do my cage. anyway, time allowing johns going to try some triangulation of the autopower cage. i might have to wait on some of it. end of year visa money is getting tight.

Cool. I'll talk to Lil_RedZX3 about it. Might give us something to do this weekend. I don't know...

the weather is supposed to be real nice this weekend. ashley. who knows, maybe someone at the track will be giving rides. also usually at lunchtime for ten bucks they let you out for "happy" laps.
