Clutch

Okay my clutch has been going for a while now but as of today I think it's toast. I pulled out infront of a car and she went well through 1st but when I speed shifted to second all it did was slip. Now when I give it gas it slips while in gear. I guess it's time for a new one.

I want to know if I should get a stage 1, 2, or 3. I want drivability since this is a DD. My future goal is either a turbo or NO2. I never expect to be putting down over 200hp. Anyone that thinks they can in these cars if full of s--t, I think. Spec stage 1 is good for 220 ft/lbs tq. Shouldn't that be sufficient or should I go with a stage 2 or 3? Usually when you start staging up you loose drivability and their lifetime shortens.

Anyone give me a little advice here?

You gave it a little more than 12 hours.

I'm sorry but doesn't this kind of answer your own question right there? I mean you don't expect to put out over 200hp so I doubt you are going to exceed 220 ft/lbs tq. I'm sorry you feel that the people on these forums aren't helpful but I have seen MANY instances contradictory to that theory. Good to see we have to deal with one less impatient person :)

Hey bro! Yeah, I've got a stage 2 for my 200+hp SPI and it's doing just fine. I've had it since I was NA and it has been doing fine. Driveability is just fine as well.

Toodles,
Rustin
