Yeah, you'd be the first here to do that. I wouldn't bother with the SVT; the best, most upgraded, part of the car is the engine, and you're just going to toss that anyway. The ZX3 would also be marginally lighter and of course cheaper like you mentioned, leaving you more money for the headaches that will come with being one of the first to do this.

SVT, you are right i can already see my life being controlled by this car. However, my plan as of now is just looking around for a well maintianed focus buy it and wait for FORD to come out with the kit to do all the hard work for me :) Though the finalized price isn't written in stone they (over at ford) are estimating about 22k for engine, and all the needed drivetrain parts. On top of that ill need a new suspension and brakes :[

If you do it, you're my hero. You can save a lot of money on the engine if you don't buy one of Ford's "cammer" crate motors, they're charging an arm and a leg for those things from the articles I've seen, although I guess part of that cost is a custom-made wiring harness to adapt the engine to the car...

it's cool but not realistic for a daily drive that shit won't stick u'd never get anywhere in it

i like it. quick little snot would'nt it be? zrrrrrrrrm. what's that? quarter in 12.7? mmm not bad. but for less money you can turbo the bejesus out of it, upgrade your full engine/suspension/stereo/and even still ahve change to rice it out.

The big problem with these cars is traction they got alotta power and not enough traction most people say for what it costs screw it get a SVT Cobra
