Question aftermarket hoods

so some of you know I'm trying what to do with my hood. my factory one is in really bad shape from a previous owner. so after getting prices to fix it I've decided that now would be a good time to get an aftermarket hood.

I have a black focus but I'm not sure carbon fiber hood will look good on it.

I also don't know much about after market hoods. I was thinking of getting the vis terminator hood.
my question is are these good hoods and does my take any modfication or will it fit just like the factory, with the stock hinges latch and prop?

any suggestions are welcome.

thanks!
matt

they will fit the stock... BUT IMO, u should get a cf hood... just get the stock hood (or get the invader) but with carbon fiber... be sure u get a good hood... dont just go with the cheapest one... if u go with the cheapest one, ur gonna get screwed and nothing will line up right...

Yeah, I'm gonna get the VIS hood.
Is there a good place to get it from?
I saw JFRACING site
http://www.jfracing.com/Products/Hoo...iber-Hood.html

I'm assuming it's made by VIS and a pretty good price but I'm up for suggestions if you guys know of a better place to buy from.

No hood pins are needed? ....lol I really don't mean to keep asking the same question but I really don't want the hood to fly open at 70+ on the highway...wow that would blow.

thanks!

I do really like that hood, and your focus is awesome!
I think though I'm pretty set on that invader, I dunno I didn't think I would like carbon fiber on black, but I really like that hood. I want something that looks Pi**ed.
lol
thanks!
