almost a week before i did the install i was WD/40ing all my bolts. I assumed it help. nothing was too hard to take off. only thing i kinda as to twist my exhaust to get it up to the flex. 4-5 hours cuz i took my time making sure everything was tight.

Wow, i did mine about a week a go but it only took me 2 hours... I jacked up the car and did it on my own.

BTW, you don't need a special tool to replace the PS line. I did that too, just remember to get the SVT ps line adapter when getting the SVT PS line, i have the part number, if any one needs it.

Here's some pics of mine:

Yeah, well, with all of the rain we've had lately, my engine compartment has the 'worn in' look right now. But the black header wrap makes it look not quite so dirty, as all of the dirt just kinda blends in...

Great post. Thanks for the heads up on how rusted everything can get. I have a 2003 that has been driven through the Michigan winters. I'll have to make sure I have some friends over to help me in the spring when I do this.

SOAK everything a decent amount of time before hand so that it has time set in. I don't know if it'll help, but it should. I just cannot believe the amount of rust the was on my car. I take good care of my car and it's just sad the amount of rust that took over my front end

yeah, winter time is killer for the cars... as well as us (can't do anything as in modding cause it's too cold!)
