going back to stock tune

i was wondering right now i have a jrsc bbk on my car and i want to sell the car so i would like to take of the s/c and sell the car stock and sell the s/c seperate. how do i go about getting the ecu back to a stock tune?

go to ford and have it reflashed

depends if you have the FRPP or w/e black box tune, or an aftermarket one through an OBDII device....

If you have the BBK tune then you will have to go to Ford to get a stock reflash

If you have a xcal / Predator then just go back to the stock tune with the flasher

i have the bbk tune, if i made a trade in the s/c sale for a intake manifold and their ecu can i just put it in my car or will the security not match up?

correct, the security (PATS) in the ECU wont work with the keys for your car. Itd require a reprogramming of the ECU.

Then you both would have to go to Ford for a reset and if he did it wrong would loose the BBK tune

Is Ford going to charge him for a reflush? Everyone knows that the stock Ford ECU mapping is crap. Did Ford ever correct the crappy tune with a decent one?
