Possible HID Group Buy - Post Interest Here

Hey guys, this is not a sale thread, just wanted opinions, and thought it would get more visibility here.

We are having group buys coming online this month for several of our other forums we sponsor, and would like to hold one here as well.

The kits up for group buy are our Flashtech kits that have made us so recognized in other forums. They utilize the latest in ballast technology, using Generation 5, version 2 ballsts. Unlike 99% of the ballast out there, these are a 32 volt ballast, which translates into longer component life, due to the ballasts ability to compensate for voltage fluctuations through the vehicles electrical system. Further, we use the GEN5 VII ballast on every kit we sell. We don't skimp on components for fog light kits or non computer controlled lights. Reliability is just as important on fog lights as it is your headlights. You may pay a little more than competitors, but be assured, you are getting the best components available. Your car deserves it right?

The Flashtech kits also carry a lifetime warranty, including bulbs. The only thing not covered under warranty, is a broken/shattered bulb, obviously.

These are a high end kit, not an ebay special. If you want the best for your car, these are the kits to have. Why spend a ton of money on your vehicle, and save 50 dollars and go with a low end kit that will cost you more in the long run due to component failure. If you want the best for your car, this is the only kit to run!!!

Cost for the group buy at 15 orders, for single beam kits, would be $125.00 plus a flat rate 13 dollars shipping to the continental U.S. - normal price $170.00 (save $45.00)

Bi-Xenon kits, such as the H13, 9007, etc, would run $180.00 plus shipping. - normal pricing $225 (save $45.00)

International and Alaska/Hawaii would run additional. Let us know if you have any questions.

We would love to hold a group buy for the focus community. This would apply to any car, any year, any make, any model.... you get the idea.

I might be intrested. I'd have to find out what my low beam HID kit bulb color is so I can color match everything.

from my liimited experience with customers who have had a DDM kit, and switched to our kits, the DDM's look to be a 12 volt GEN2 or GEN3 ballast. The flashtech ballasts are a GEN5 VII ballast - the absolute latest technology out there currently. They are a 32 volt ballast, meaning they can operate over a wide range of voltage variations. Variation in HID kits drastically reduce component life, so you'll see better performance, and no flickering associated with 12 volt kits.

The GEN2/3 is 3-5 year old technology, whereas the GEN5 VII ballasts are about 8 months old.

Okay here is another question. For headlamps that have a seperate low and high beam bulb is there a kit that will support both or do you have to buy two kits? The headlight style that I'm asking about is pictured below.

you would need two kits, both would be single beam kits. one for high, and a separate for low beam.
