"It has been a fun car to modify, and I love how it has turned out. It has taken a lot of time, money, blood, sweat and tears to transform it into what it is now, and to me the result is worth it. If I had to pick my favorite thing about it I would have to say the way it handles the twisties. It is just plain fun to drive. To quote Jeremy Clarkson it "handles like it's in a cartoon."

His future plans:
"I have a complete (new/never installed) Roush Turbo kit that I plan on installing sometime in the near future. Along with the kit I have collected a lot of other parts that will be going on as well. Beyond that there are quite a few other things that I want to do, but only time will tell..."

"Her and I have been through hell and back. Anyone that knows me knows what I've gone through to even get her running lol. It's been a tough transition from the F &F days but of course it's been for the better... Each time I get behind the wheel she manages to make me smile.. Idk its weird but some of you get it, when a lot of people or family can let you down and the trust is gone, but with snowflake aka her name no matter what she puts me through I never give up on her or her on me. Weird relationship lol"

"In the future I plan on picking up the new RSL Formula by Fifteen52
Along with a new suspension revamp.

Why he loves his Focus:
"The short answer is because it's mine. I've put so much work into this car that I've become to know almost all the ins and outs of this thing along with all it's little habits, gremlins and characteristics. It's turned into my best friend in the garage and on the road as well as my little baby and an expression of who I am. I probably would have gotten as attached to any other car over time but it was that much easier to fall in love with such an excellent car as the Focus. The handling performance is great both on and off the paved road and it's as tough as nails to handle the trip into the back country. The engine performance may not be at the top of the class but the Svt still packs all the punch I need and than enough extra to put a smile on almost anyone's face. It's hard to find a car more useful than the hatch which can eat up almost anything if you pack it in right. In the end, it was almost imposable not to fall in love with this car and I hope this relationship will last for many more years and possibly even decades."

His future plans:
"My future plans are endless. I expect this car to continue it's slow evolution for as long as I own it and have no intentions of parting with this car for a very long time."

Why he loves his Focus:
"There are many things I like about the Mk1 Focus. When it comes to makers though, I'm not one-sided and appreciate many brands. I bought the focus for it's looks. At the time, the head-lights were something new I've never seen before and with a 6-speed, made it a little more enticing. After several years of driving her, it dawned upon me that this car is great for all-around driving; especially on the clovers and hair-pins. Learning of the RS models deepend my appreciation for the Mk1 Focus, and thus, my plans to do my own conversion began for its aggressive RS looks."

His future plans:
"My plans for the car are getting shorter and shorter with every install that is done. Now that I am quadriplegic, I need to depend on my friends to do everything on my car. So now my plans depend on how much help I get. I have a rather short list now, but it's a lot in terms of hours needed to complete the tasks.

"I used to be a big Toyota guy. And in July of 08, I needed something newer and dependable so I went to purchase a Matrix and the Toyota dealership treated me like I wasn't good enough to purchase their car. So I went next door and bought my 04 Focus. Been a Ford guy ever since. Love this car. Eventually bought a MK3 hatch, and an 01 wagon as well."

"I plan to either add a nice roots blower to the 302 after its done, or sell the car to purchase the RS if it does come to the states."

"I love my focus because it's different an stands out (the 'Aqua Blue' color is fairly rare). It's a challenge to find parts for and very rewarding when I do. It's always a blast to hear, "well I thought Focus were ugly, then I saw yours" or "Is that really a focus, I thought it was a (insert a car, usually it gets mistaken for a Subaru)?"

Her future plans:
"Future plans, I have some beautiful new wheels, some slightly stretched rubber, and camber plates that should all be in and installed for the beginning of May (our spring time in Canada). Which will allow me to be flush and slightly lower. For right now that's it. No big engine mods in the plans this year."
