I haven't looked into the RS in a while. That article made me do some googling, and I came up with this. $40k is a lot for a Focus -- and 350 hp through the front wheels? Still...I hope it happens. I'd love to drive one.

IF Ford brings us an RS I just can't see them going out the door for less than 35k base and add a few options and you'll be over 40k easily and if there any type of limited run then you'll be dealing with "market adjusted value" on top of the 40k price.

For 40k it should at least come with 4 wheel drive, like a Suburu and then I might buy it.

I know everybody was poopooing my price predictions but I've now seen a 35,000 euro estimate which puts a US price over $40k; I honestly think america will be left out once again getting an RS.

Ford will never risk losing v6 mustang sales to sell a bad ass focus here. That's why this is the only place in the world that can't have them. :/

Yea, pretty much sums it up. As most Mustang sales are v/6's.
