Standard Six-speed manual
Gear ratios
1st 3.231
2nd 1.952
3rd 1.321
4th 1.029
5th 1.129
6th 0.943
Reverse 4.600
Final drive 4.063/2.955
The specific gear ratios used in the ST's MMT6 do differ slightly from those of the Mondeo TDCI mentioned in the article, but that is a good bit of technical information for those who may be interested in the gearbox.

It has a similar split final drive arrangement to the DCT in the standard MK3 unlike the fixed 3.82:1 gear ratio of the MTX-75.

When I posted that link, I assumed that the ST may have different gear ratios but I thought the other info may be interesting.

Lookie what I found... =D

Couple pics from the Japanese auto show, circa 2009.

Interesting configuration on these things... But I just don't see how shoving a second final drive AND another countershaft in the similar sized casing as an MTX75 will be stronger. Engineering hoobajoo, I guess. I can't find any technical articles on the max torque spec either.
