I don't see an issue with using this setup. I have a 2012 and as far as i know its engine bay is exactly the same (perhaps minor differences) as the 2013. There are a lot of different intake options out on the market for the focus. There are also threads on here specifically for air intakes on here for the Mk3 model.

I'm 99.9% sure the 2013 North American Focus only comes with a 2.0L and 2.0L turbo.

1.6L is available in the Fiesta, Fusion, and Escapes.

From what I've seen it doesn't seem like a difference. so you think if it fits it will work fine? Or it will not work/ fail on me or something?

Well out of curiosity I went to go look, turns out it is a 2.0L despite the fact that the man at the dealership told me it was a 1.6L boardliquid01 I thank you for being the only one in my 3day research to point that out! XD if I didn't become a member here last night to ask I probably would have never found out!

Good to hear! I was going through the build sheets for the MY12 and MY13 Focus and did not see the 1.6L for any North American Foci. Anyways the 2.0L Ti-VCT is an awesome engine in my opinion.
