Where is crank sensor on ford focus?! Help?!
Hi can someone please tell me where the crank sensor is on a ford focus 2001 1.8 please? I have bought the part and trying to fix it myself and I can't seem to see where it's about?! Please help

It is triggered off of the flywheel/flexplate between the engine and transaxle. I am not aware of the exact location but it is somewhere around the bell housing.
I'm sure you were hoping for it to be on the belt side of the engine. Brilliant engineering.

   It's facing the front of the car behind the cat converter. That's if it's similar to the 2.0 Zetec which I think it is.

depends on which driver's side... yours or ours
 probably the transaxle side if you can't pick the whole front up... or if it's not possible from the top.

This a Zetec? See large hole on right hand side? To the right and down a little from the PVC mounting location.
