Pulled the transmission, swapped in a 3700 stall converter, mounted a big new trans cooler, ran new cooler hardlines, put a higher torque starter in. Still need to button it up tomorrow, so haven't experienced the new converter yet.

Replaced my oil pan. Had spun the oil drain plug so it leaked. Very little, like I never had to replace lost oil- still I wanted it done. Sure I could have half asses it and stv the plug but NO. Used ultra grey rtv.

Wonder if should scrap this oil pan for aluminum or tap new threads in, clean up and sell/keep.

yours look so much better than mine. I think its due to mine having have a compromised seal as the outside has gotten inside.
What kit did you use?
One headlight took SOOOO Long to do. If anyone used the turtle wax kit and put on that sealer as the final step, be prepared to spend a lot of time removing it.
