Non-of the focuses are All-wheel drive. The only smaller cylinder all-wheel drive car that I can think of that came out from Ford was the Old Cosworth Escort.
I haven't looked into the RS in a while. That article made me do some googling, and I came up with this. $40k is a lot for a Focus -- and 350 hp through the front wheels? Still...I hope it happens. I'd love to drive one.
Shoot I have all the kids I will EVER need so I would give both nuts. Seriously. My wife and I were looking at a new car for her and she said "How are we going to do this if you are getting the 2015 RS?" I looked at her in shock and amazement. So, she has already planned for it. SCOOOOOORE!!!! We will see if we (US) get the RS.
IF Ford brings us an RS I just can't see them going out the door for less than 35k base and add a few options and you'll be over 40k easily and if there any type of limited run then you'll be dealing with "market adjusted value" on top of the 40k price.
I know everybody was poopooing my price predictions but I've now seen a 35,000 euro estimate which puts a US price over $40k; I honestly think america will be left out once again getting an RS.
Yea, you can hope for a '15 rs, but realisty its not going to happen. Ford's busy getting their only rwd car going & I would too. Next move I'd say is for Ford to bring out a track pack for the ST(BBK & a Torsen) & possible 23 motor for it.
Definitely agree because I just priced out a new ST and it came out to $29,900 before taxes. I think an RS would definitely be a lot more (>$31k) and as the chart shows there are very few willing to spend that kind of money.
When I see a review of the latest McLaren 650S at $265,500 and it uses brake modulation for slip control ("electronic LSD") you know factory mechanical units are on the way out.
I was reading something on this. Focus owners are so niche its hard for Ford to bring it to the US. Most focus owners out there are a the grocery getters. Unfortunately we are the minority. And yes if you get on a post about the Focus RS of course it looks like everyone wants one, but that is a biased polling base Not sure this will ever happen, but hopefully the success of the ST will nudge Ford in the right direction.
I had to say I would not buy one (as there was no price selection for I would wait till the previous owner was done with it and buy it for alot less) I usually buy other peoples problems/junk then try to give it a few more years before it goes off to become a container for baked beans!
I would like to own one, but not sure the wife would be on board.
