Zetec engine. Location of the ECT sensor, or CHT sensor?

I can't get this darn car to run when warm. As soon as it warms up, it will only idle, and run just off idle. When i put my foot down on the throttle when warm, it just bogs, as soon as I let up, it runs ok again.

Fuel pump repl, filter repl, TPS swapped, MAF swapped, timing checked, plugs and coil checked.

I'm starting to think the coolant sensor is going off wild, and it's getting too lean to run at more than 1/4 throttle. Anyone know where it is on the engine? Does the car have a Cyl Head Temp sensor, and if so, know where that is?

Yes to CHT, should be able to find the zetec one at the back left side of the head above the alternator.

If the temp gauge is working, that gets it's info. from the CHT sensor. Gauge inop., could be a CHT fault.

Thanks, gauge is working fine, but the car dies when I give it throttle when warm. When cold, it runs fine. Still looking for a Engine Cooling Temp sensor location, if any.

Noticed you'd prev. had luck when fiddling with the TPS, have you checked back in that area?

TPS has been swapped for a new one, and then back to the orig. Same failure mode. I'm going back to the fuel pump, I think I'm going to find a fuel gauge somewhere and start testing.
