Huntington charged me fees for paying off my loan early over $200.00.I had loans thru them in 1993 and 2003 they where great now I wont use them.Had 2 loans thru Ford credit 1998 and 2006 I don't have any complaints really liked getting the monthly bill showing the pay off and no fee for paying off early and they sent title.

Wow, not surprised they charged fees.

Is ford credit the same as Honda credit, you have to work for or be related to someone works for in order to open a account?

Sad to say but in today's "big business" world, the convenience of the company is way more important than your satisfaction. Why do we let them continue to do us like that? I always try to stand up to these money mongers and demand customer Sat. Sometimes I come out ahead and other times mad as hell. I let EVERYONE I know about good and bad consumer relations and I urge you to do the same. Screw FoMo credit

This all sounds like a nightmare. I'm jealous sometimes of people who can afford new cars, but also, totally not.

When I finally got a hold of someone at the bank they claimed initially that the paperwork was sent at the same time as the refund check, however I'd received only the latter. They said they would put in another request now that allegedly would have approximately a 5 day turn around. I don't think I'll do business with them again after this once I've got the release papers.

No I don't want to join I was just curious. I don't mean to offend anyone with this next statment. I would never join or work for anyone who belongs to a union.

Honda credit is amazing. I would recommend that bank to any one.

I've had very good luck with CapitalOne Auto Finance. Their rates are sometimes a bit higher than elsewhere, but the service has been nothing short of outstanding, including title paperwork which never took more than about 10 days, even though their own documentation says up to 45 days.
