Stock Intake Manifold

Was wondering what the difference in the stock intake manifolds are with the flaps and with out flaps?
Also if you switch from 1 to the other what all would need done?
I know that the 1 with flaps is electronically controlled, since the upgraded manifolds like the cossie don't have them it is possible to switch it out but I know with the upgraded you need a new tune but would that be the case if you were switching from 1 stock manifold to the other?
This would be standard emission no flaps and low emission has flaps from my understanding

The only stock manifold w/o the imrc(tumble flaps) is the Escape 23. It has the imtv, but no imrc. The foci 23 has both & of course the 20 just uses the imrc w/o imtv. You'll need a tune of course. If your running the stock 20 manifold, you could pull the flaps out & you'd need a reflash.
