Dirty rusted spark plugs

Hello,
I just changed out my plugs and wires for my 01 ZX3 a month ago but I checked this past weekend and two of the plugs and wire got some rust on the tips. What the heck is going on with these plugs? Does anybody have or had this issue?

Moved to "General Technical Chat". It sounds as if you are getting some moisture down in there some how. I would use some di-electric grease around the tips of the spark plugs to help reduce the moisture from getting to the plugs.

Water dripping down on top of the motor and getting in around the spark plug wires. It's common. Rust doesn't damage the plugs, but it will damage the spark plug wires when it gets inside the plug wires and causes the spark to have a lower resistance path to ground. Don's suggestion will prevent that- but you might need a new set of plug wires.
