I've got a rattle in my hatch. I've taken the plastic off the inside and felt around and looked everywhere and I can't find it. But once I hit a bump in the road, I hear it. I just turn the radio up a little louder so I can't hear it... :-/

My entire interior rattles. RATTLE RATTLE RATTLE!!! I've stripped almost all of it out down to sheet metal and, by some sort of divine power, it STILL rattles. The entire dashboard rattles like a maraca. Of course having replaced all 3 engine mounts with polyurethane ones doesn't help.

I swear if I can't fix my dashboard rattling I may end up removing that too and going for some sort of strange homemade Mad Max style gauge cluster job.

Starting at the pavement upon which mine is parked I'll move upwards noting all the good things about this car...

No, I'll stop there. Honestly there is nothing good about this car. It is so poorly executed on every front.

I've discovered the source of one of the rattles. You know those plastic covers that cover the windshield wiper arms and their mounting nuts? They cracked and now rattle surprisingly loud. I don't even know why the hell they're necessary, but they're getting taken off.
