Honestly I wouldn't bother upgrading the clutch when you do the swap. Unless your 100% on driving stick and won't be learning post swap. If your already comfortable with it go for it, otherwise I'd rather wreck a stock clutch and replace it a year later then spend money on an upgraded clutch just to burn that one up.
That's what I did when I did my swap. Though mines still running great.
Going from the 2.0 auto to the 2.3 5spd is enough of a difference that really a turbos not needed right away unless you have the money to burn.
I'm pretty good with a manual. I drive a Civic Si quite a bit. And I'm slowly learning on a turbo'd Civic... (the boyfriend is a Honda kid.) The plan has always been to boost it. Just seems more fun after it's swapped.
When you boost you'll want a better clutch. It's no fun when you go to pass a semi and the clutch starts slipping and you have to drop behind it again. ?
I ran an Exedy stage 2. It's very stiff, however it held up nicely for a 2.0 turbo. Now if your going to build the internals for boost get the Exedy hyper single.
