One of my headlights has this crazy foggy deal going on and I was wondering if it was worth restoring the headlight or if I should just get a whole new headlight? If I need to buy another one, what is the best place/website to find one reasonably priced?
You can use a polishing compound and buff that foggy headlight. I know the restoring kits have you sand them down and stuff, but I know a detailing guy that justs buffs the lens with a soft cloth and polishing compound and they come out almost like new.
New black SES headlights from Rockauto go for $197 and chrome are $169. The $86 lights on Rockauto will not fit your car if it is a MK2. I don't know why Rockauto has those one there... Ebay is your best bet or check the Buy Sell Trade forums.
