MAN OH MAN DOES THIS INCREASE STRUCTUAL RIGIDITY LIKE 10 FOLD I'M NOT GETTING FLEX AT ALL AND LIKE I SAID NOOOOOOO CLEARANCE ISSUES AND I'M LOWERED 1.5 :OD
Well thats one reason why but also that I'm well over 2.5" drop. My buddy is only on a 1.5" drop and has about 2.75-3.0" clearance from brace to ground. That means I'll only have about 1.5" of ground clearance. I had the FSWERKS but took it off when I installed the turbo.
BTW it looks good installed. It'll help compliment your suspension work. Now get that rear upper stress bar and It'll make a HUGE difference.
i feel like this may cause some serious over steering? or no?
i have the eibach sportline suspension, with sway bars,
so i'm dropped 2, i should have clearance, but would it be too much control in front?
most excellence, i'll definitely have to pick one up this summer then! i have the FSwerks STB, and the rear stress bar, with the eibach sways, eibach sportline springs and dampers.
my car will be rollling...low and slow
another question, there was no custom work here, this thing literally bolted up to where it is, theres bolts already on the car, you just undid them and put this on with those bolts right?
SO yeah I'm having issues that I foresaw from the get go...but my poor cfm brace is now all scratched up...I'm lile bottoming out on every tall speed bump there is...but not the ones coming into my neighboorhood though go figure LOL
haha thats the life of goign low man, my rear wheels rub often when going over bumps or going fast down a hill and then up if it isn't perfectly smooth. cuz of the downforce at the bottom.
rubbing is a small price to pay for handling like on rails
pretty sure i'm going to be placing my order for mine today =D
