I've heard race is too loud for DD...true? Is Stealth louder than standard SVT exhaust?

+1. I love my Borla. It bellows like a raging bull. Didn't know how good it sounded till one day the wife and I swapped cars on the way home. She had to pass me and I couldn't believe how deep it sounded. No rice here.

I love my HKS plus Doms orp. Doesn't sound ricey to me but I've heard the Borla and it just wasn't loud enough for me.

Race is loud as all *. Personally I wouldn't ever use it for DD.

Here's one of the Stealth option. There was a good video of the Race one but I can't find it anymore.

I'm under the impression that a resonator would cut down on "riceness". Trubendz offers them and I'm sure the other ones as well. I know the FSwerks stealth comes with it already.

When I bought my car the cat was cutted, but otherwise stock. it sounds alright, but when I have the $$ I'd rather have an ORP with either Borla or maybe those odd Aeroturbine muffler/resonator deals.

I used to run HKS with a high flow cat, it sounded great! I replaced it with 3" trubenz magnaflow which also sounds ok. Super super loud!! Like rally car loud....

This week I'm going back to HKS but with an orp

I agree. I have the Borla cat back with a CFM HFC and i love it. its deep and loud and very smooth. I love it. I also have a short ram intake a i like out the car sounds at high RPM with that over the CAI i used to have. Again you should go with the Borla, its expensive but very worth it. Good luck.
